After some dutiful service, my Pittsburgh Pro Flex-Head Ratchet isn’t as tight as it used to be. It still works but you have to hold the head while lining it up on a fastener or else it will flop all over the place. I took it apart to investigate and got an idea for a really quick and easy fix for floppy ratchets. This should work for any flex-head ratchet without detents.
