There’s really no reason to watch this.
Last night we were bamboozled by some incorrectly forecasted swirling plasma. The National Weather Service declared yesterday that due to a particularly strong solar flare, the Northern lights would be visible as far South as the Illinois/Wisconsin border. We took a chance and packed up the truck and headed as far North as we could get before dark.
After sitting in a corn field for a few hours we found an update saying that the forecast was wrong and the Aurora Borealis would not be visible outside of Canada.
So, we got the classic Supernintendo Chalmers treatment and were denied seeing the majesty of the Northern Lights. We didn’t even get any patented Skinner Burgers/Steamed Hams.
At any rate it’s some practice with a travel vlog format. My GF was operating the camera and she’s still not used to locking the focus for each shot so a few of them go in and out unfortunately. Like I said though I expect no one to watch this so it probably doesn’t matter!
