I just got this little SJCAM M10+ 2K action cam the other day, and I noticed that there was new firmware for it available on the SJCAM website. Once I started looking into the update process, and watched the official SJCAM video, I got the idea that I should document the update process myself. I saw some people had a bit of confusion from the SJCAM video and hopefully this procedure is a bit clearer.

Also note, http://sjcamhd.com is the official SJCAM website. There are several other websites with SJCAM in the name which are not actually run by the people who originally made this camera. There are a lot of knockoffs out there and it can be a challenge to make sure you get an authentic camera.

I checked it with the authenticity checker on their website and it was an authentic SJCAM camera.
